DVDs old technology

So DVDs are what everyone watches movies on. Now there is Blu-ray Discs. The question is what is next?

Sure you can buy your movies off iTunes in .m4v format. But is the the future, no more hard copies anymore? Me roommate and myself have decided that maybe converting all the DVDs we own to digital format it the way to go.

So, for the last 2 days I have started getting all my roommate's DVDs into .m4v. Is this the way things will be, hard to say but at least now I will have the classic movies of all time in my hand, in one place.

If anyone wants to do it, use HandBrake.

  1. I use DVD Decrypter to make an ISO file, then use Handbrake to make the ISO file into the movie file.
